Krista & Alex; July 13, 2013

I had the pleasure of getting to know Krista and Alex over the past year as they were planning for their big day in July!  Since they live in Cleveland we were able to set up Skype date and get to "meet" face to face!  Their wedding would begin with a lovely ceremony at Saint Clarence Church.  After the ceremony we were thrilled to learn that Alex had been able to get us permission to photograph inside the Cleveland Museum of Art!!!  It was an absolutely stunning backdrop to photograph this sweet couple and their friends.  From the museum we traveled on to Ahern Banquet Center where the night was completed with tons of fun and dancing.  Here are just a few of my favorite photos from our time with Krista and Alex!

Ashleigh & Gabe; June 22, 2013

You may remember Ashleigh & Gabe from our super fun engagement session at Goodale Park.  After such a great session I knew that their wedding would be just as lovely!   We started our day at The First Presbyterian Church in Bucyrus where Ashleigh and Gabe packed this little church with friends and family.  Then it was off down a few dirt roads, with some twists and turns to the most amazing abandoned farm as our backdrop.  We were able to get some absolutely striking images of the two of them because of their willingness to get a little dirty and go along with some of our crazy idea!  After our stop in the country we headed off to a rocking reception at Camden Falls full of laughter, dancing and smiles!  We couldn't have been more thrilled to be a part of Ashleigh & Gabe's big day.  Below are just a few of my favorite photos.

Jessie & Tony, Jeffrey Mansion

I couldn't have asked for a better way to start off our 2013 wedding season than to photograph the lovely wedding of Jessie and Tony.  When I found out that the ceremony and reception we going to be held at The Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley I knew that this was going to be a beautiful day!

Jessie and Tony are such a loving and sweet couple and their love for each other and their friends and family was really touching.  This day was filled with a ton of laughter and happy tears.  Below are just a few of my favorite images from Jessie and Tony's big day!

Ashleigh & Gabe's Engagement; Goodale Park & Short North

Sometimes it seems like the universe is just working in your favor.  Well we had one of those perfect moments when we photographed Ashleigh and Gabe's engagement session last month.  We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day and great couple.  We started our session at the beautiful Goodale Park and then took a little stroll up High Street to the Short North.  I really love getting the feel of two really different settings in one session and I think it makes for some great photos.  Below are just a few of my favorite pics from Ashleigh & Gabe's engagement.

I love getting photo inspiration from my clients and Ashleigh provided me with some great suggestions.  This is one photo she really liked and we were able to put our own spin on it!

I love when an idea just pops into my head and I have an awesome couple who is willing to go with the flow.  Not everyone would take a seat on a sidewalk for me but I am so glad Ashleigh and Gabe did.  This has to be one of my all time favorite images.

Leah & Brian's Engagement; Goodale Park

I first met Leah this fall when we started going over the details of her and Brian's upcoming August wedding.  I was so excited to be chosen to shoot the big day and even more thrilled when Leah asked me if I would be willing to do a winter engagement session.   I think I almost leapt out of my seat when I replied "YES!".  I have been wanting to do a winter wonderland shoot for years but never had a couple that was willing to brave the snow and cold until now.  Leah told me that she and Brian were a fun-loving couple and really wanted to incorporate a snowball fight into the session.  What could be more fun to shoot than that?!  We set a date and crossed our fingers for snow and we couldn't have been luckier.  A beautiful blanket of snow is exactly what we received so it was off to Goodale Park for our shoot.  Below are just a few of my favorite images from Leah & Brian's winter-wonderland engagement session.

Leah & Brian are such a loving couple.  I just love Leah's laugh and the fact that Brian made her smile so much during our session.

The best photos are the ones where the camera is totally forgotten.  I think this little series truly shows how in the moment Leah & Brian were. 

 This building was such a fun backdrop and provided a great little urban feel to our day.

A perfect way to end our session, with a snowball fight!

Our 2013 Charity!

We are just bursting at the seams to reveal our 2013 charity! A portion of all of our sales in 2013 will go towards the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio. This amazing charity, located just steps away from Nationwide Children's Hospital, provides a home-away-from-away for the families of sick children as they are being treated. The Ronald McDonald House is always free of charge for these families and a small $100 donation will house a family for 5 nights in one of these amazing facilities.
