Norah Mae; Newborn Session

There is no greater compliment for me than a photo referral.  To know that we captured someones moments perfectly and that they trust us and love us so much to send their friends and family our way is amazing.  And that's how this session came to be.

I photographed Erin's twin sister wedding back in 2010 (here's a little walk down memory lane to see pics from Kelly & George's big day) and had a blast!  When a got an email this spring from Kelly stating that her sister Erin was pregnant and they wanted to surprise her with a gift of a newborn session I was thrilled!  Once I got word that little Norah Mae was born last month I packed up the car and went to go see this little cutie.

Vivian Lee; Inniswood Metro Park

What could be cuter than a sweet little giggly, smiley, baby girl?!  Little Miss Vivian Lee is all of those things and more!  She is such a happy little baby whose big personality shines through in every photo I snapped.  I was so lucky to have had the chance to photograph her and her family this past spring at Inniswood Metro Gardens.  It was one of those perfect days when the flowers just started to bloom and people started to have a little spring in their step and Miss Vivian was ready to spread a little of her own sunshine.  Below are just a few of my favorite photos from my time with Miss Vivian Lee.

Megan & Zach, May 17, 2014

We are so lucky to get to work with such fun and sweet couples.  I knew as soon as I met with Megan that her wedding would be beautiful.  She is very organized and really gave us so much time to be creative and run with some ideas we had on the spot.  She even dodge a couple raindrops for some amazing rooftop shots at The Renaissance hotel in downtown Columbus.  We had a crazy weather day full of mixtures of sun and rain and Megan and Zach and their entire bridal party we troopers throughout the whole day.  The ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous Columbus Athenaeum.  Family and friends danced all night and we had such a wonderful time capturing the love this couple has for each other.  Here are just a few of my favorite images from Megan & Zach's big day!

Shannon & Jeremy; April 26, 2014

Shannon and Jeremy contacted me this fall and began filling me in on all the fabulous details of their upcoming Spring wedding.  Shannon attended a wedding we shot last year in Tiffin Ohio and was excited to have us photograph her big day.  There is nothing I love more than being referred by a former bride and groom.  It makes me feel great to know that our work is loved and treasured and that our clients have a great experience with us.  Throughout our planning process Shannon was super organized (which I LOVE!) and no detail was left behind.   In April we packed up the car and headed to Tiffin.  Our day started at the lovely St. Andrews church and from there we made a pit stop at a local tavern called Clouses so Shannon and Jeremy could sign their wedding wall.  Then it was off to party the night away at Camden Falls.  Shannon and Jeremy are some of the kindest people we have had the pleasure of working with and their friends and family were just as lovely.  Below are just a few of my favorite images from Shannon and Jeremy's big day!

Kate & Stella; Inniswood Metro Park 2014

Spring is finally here and I could not be any more excited!  Kate had contacted me during our long cold winter about photographing Stella and we have been counting down the days until we were able to run and play at Inniswood park.  The first flower bloomed and we headed out for a fun day.

It is never easy photographing a little one, you never know what kind of mood they will be in and how they will react to a camera.   Miss Stella is a complete natural in front of the camera.  Right off the bat it was "Chase me!  Catch me!" and lots of smiles and giggles.  Then Kate joined in the fun and I was able to capture some of the sweetest, tenderest moments between a Mom and her baby.  Life isn't always easy for this Mother-Daughter duo but you would never know that from the smiles on the faces and the warmth in their hearts.

Mary Jo & Caiti; Jeffrey Mansion

I met Mary Jo and Caiti over 7 years ago in a past life as a receptionist (a starving artist has to pay the bills right?!).  Mary Jo was my boss and her little girl Caiti came in to hang out with me a lot.  We watched movies, talked about boys and laughed a lot.  It really seems like just yesterday!  You may recognize Caiti from our website and blog posts, because I also had the pleasure of photographing her senior portraits.  We have all grown up so much since the first time we met.  Life has thrown these two amazing woman some hardships but you would never be able to tell by the smiles on their faces and the warmth and love they have for everyone.  I was so excited to be able to photograph Mary Jo and Caiti for our Portraits in the Park Session.   I knew we would have a day full of bursts of laughter (as you can see below!).  It's hard to take a bad photo when you're having such a great time!  Below are just a few of my favorite photos from our time together.
