Jessy & Greg Engagement; Federal Hill Park

I know they say that rain is lucky on your wedding day but I'm not sure how lucky 2 months of rain is for your engagement session shoot?!  Jessy and Greg wanted to do their engagement session at the awesome Federal Hill Park in Baltimore and I am so glad we waited for a lovely day (after having to reschedule 3 times due to nasty weather).  The views from on top of this park of downtown Baltimore were amazing and created a perfect backdrop for this fun session.

I was lucky enough to meet with Jessy and Greg this past summer and go over the details of their big day.  And I have to say it truly is a small world.  Jessy was referred to me by one of my lovely brides, LeAnn who was working in the fabulous bridal boutique La Jeune Mariee in Columbus Ohio.  Jessy and Greg live in Baltimore Maryland where my family is so it worked out perfectly that I got to shoot their engagement session in Baltimore and their upcoming wedding in June in Columbus!  After shooting Jessy and Greg's engagement session I can't wait to get to shoot their "I Do's" in June.  I'm positive it is going to be one great party!  Here are just a few of my favorite photos from my day with Jessy and Greg!

This is my favorite photo from our session.  I love the look on Jessy's face as she is looking up at Greg!  It is so cute!

You never know what you're going to find down a cobble stone alley!  This little archway was the perfect frame for a kiss!

The AMAZING view of downtown Baltimore.  This picture totally reminds me of the perfect postcard!

I love love love this photo of Jessy and Greg.  It has a calmness about it that is just perfect.  It really feels like a moment where the camera was forgotten.

And I have to credit Jessy for this pic!  I had them walk down this sidewalk holding hands and then Jessy had the great idea to pull Greg in closer and this perfect shot was made!

Laura & Jason's Wedding Day

With fall quickly approaching (I think I have already spotted a couple of trees changes colors!) I wanted to share with you a super fun wedding we shot in August!  I'm not going to miss the heat but I sure am going to miss all the lovely greens that were plentiful for Laura and Jason's big day.
I had the pleasure of photographing Laura and Jason in the spring and couldn't wait for their big bash in August in Twinsburg.  Not only were we in Twinsburg but it was the Twins-fest and we got to enjoy the fireworks that went along with the fest!  This wedding was full of amazing, happy, beautiful people and we felt super lucky to be apart of their big day!  Here are just a few of my favorite photos from the day!

This has to be my all time favorite of Laura.  It is a simple, traditional pose but it is STUNNING!  Laura's eyes and smile just jump right off the page.  I think this might be definition of "Glowing"!

And not to be outdone by his lovely bride, Jason also has such a great smile and presence in this photo. How could you take a bad photo with these two?!

I love love love this photo of the happy couple together!

This is also a such a sweet moment.  I love how Jason is admiring Laura.  You can't see their faces but I'm betting they are both beaming!

What can I say about this image?  Simply classic and beautiful!

Congratulations Laura & Jason!  We hope your days are filled with smiles and laughter!

Stephanie & Nick Engagement; Inniswood Metro Gardens

One thing that I love about my job is how I get to be a part of peoples special moments and really form a bond with my clients.  Stephanie and Nick are a wonderful couple who were so patient and understanding of my hectic schedule this past winter.  I had the chance to chat with them on the phone in January and meet face to face in May to discuss the details of their upcoming January wedding.  I knew right away that this was a couple that really had love and fun in their hearts.  Since the wedding will be in January (and everyone is hoping for a little snow to make things extra pretty) we thought a lush, green engagement session might be the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. And it was no surprise that I had such a fun time shooting Stephanie and Nicks session at Inniswood Metro Gardens last month.  It was literally a picture perfect day!  Here are just a few of my favorite shots from our day!

What more can I say that this picture doesn't already?  This is one cute couple who are total naturals.  It almost makes my job too easy!

I love the faded, sunlight feel of this photograph and the fact that Stephanie and Nick have completely forgotten I am even there.  A perfect moment.

Stephanie and Nick actually showed me this great little spot at the gardens that I have never been too.  It was such a private lovely area with a beautiful water feature.  It made for an awesome backdrop to this great shot.

There is something about a couple that smiles and laughs with each that I love!  I don't think I capture one photo of Nick not smiling when he was looking at Stephanie!

Thank you Stephanie and Nick for an awesome engagement session.  We can't wait to shoot the big day in January!
