The Frank Family; Inniswood Metro Garden

We had such a great time photographing our October Portraits in the Park families! We start our October series at the Inniswood Metro Garden. My first family you may recognize from our blog posts over the past 3 years.  I have gotten the awesome opportunity to watch The Frank Family grow over the years and I couldn't be happier for them.  They welcomed their newest addition, baby Natalie just 5 weeks before our shoot.  And who can forget the always adorable Miss Vivienne!  Once again she has stolen the spotlight and our hearts!  Here are just a few of my favorite photos from our day together.

There are just so many cute photos of Vivienne it was so hard to choose my favorite but this one has to be my favorite.  That smile could melt anyones heart!

And here is the newest member, baby Natalie.  And Natalie was full of funny faces and noises that made her big sister laugh!  She is following in her big sisters footsteps too by being super adorable and photogenic!

LOVE this photo of Mommy and her two little girls.  I have no idea what made Vivienne laugh so hard but it is perfect!  What an awesome moment.

Remember I mentioned a certain super cute spotlight stealer?!  Well here she is!  This photo is one of my all time favorite family portraits.  I love how Mommy and Daddy are both just grinning at Vivienne and her antics!

I'm not even sure I even have the words describe this moment between Vivienne and Daddy.  I think this picture speaks a thousand words!

Congratulations Frank Family!  Thanks for letting us share another year with you and your growing family!

Anne & Anson Wedding; Dawes Arboretum

I am so excited to share Anne and Anson's big day with you!  You may remember this super cute couple from our engagement session post in June at OSU campus.  We had so much fun walking around OSU and snapping pics that I knew their wedding was going to be great.  And boy did they deliver one awesome wedding!  The ceremony was on the lake at Dawes Arboretum and was a beautiful backdrop for Anne and Anson to say "I do".  Then it was off to the reception at Anson's families amazing property!  There was a giant tent with amazing food, a huge inflatable screen to watch the OSU game and plenty of fun people to celebrate with.  We had such a great time and just love Anne and Anson, they really are such sweet caring people and we were very lucky to spend their special day with them.  Here are just a few of my favorite photos from our day together.

Anne is just stunning!  She has such a warm smile that just jumps right off the page.  I think this photo of her just captures the mood of the whole day.

This is one of my favorite photos of Anson.  He really was just so relaxed and easy to photograph!  I love when that happens!!

I think Anne and Anson could hold these smiles all day!  This is definitely a more traditional pose that I placed them in but I think it is timeless.  I can just picture their grandkids looking at this photo one day and seeing how happy these two were.

There is something so calm about this photo.  It has a quietness that I love.  When all the guests are gone, the ceremony is over and this couple finally has a moment alone I get to capture a great photo like this one!

This was a photo taken at Anne and Anson's reception.  I love how they changed into custom OSU jersey's for their party.  I took this photo during their first dance and I am so happy I was able to capture that perfect moment when everyone else was forgotten but each other.  It makes me smile every time I look at this photo!

Congratulations Anne and Anson!  Many happy years to come!

Featured Article in Columbus Bride.com

I am so excited to share this fun article by Emma Frankart on Columbusbride.com about sweeping your bride off her feet. It features two of my favorite photos we took from LeAnn & Jeff's beautiful wedding!  All you grooms take note of this perfect dip!

Men, this is an official request from women everywhere. Are you listening? Because here's a little secret from us to you: We want you to sweep us off our feet!
Okay, so this probably isn't really a secret. In fact, we'd even go so far as to say that this is a pretty well-known fact. But guys, why don't you take this literally once in a while?
Really, is there anything more dramatic or romantic than a perfectly executed dip? We don't think so. For inspiration, check out this gorgeous shot of Jeff Young and LeAnn Coward's first kiss at the altar. Now look at how happy LeAnn is in the second photo. Yep, we're willing to bet that that dip at least helped bring that grin to LeAnn's face. (Though we have to admit, marrying the love of her life probably contributed to the smiles as well.) So guys, take a page out of Jeff's book!
LeAnn and Jeff were wed on July 17, 2010, at Sacred Heart of Jesus in Shelby, Ohio, with a tented reception at the same location.

Megan & Tyler Wedding; Turf Valley Resort

We were so lucky to get a chance to shoot the lovely wedding of Megan & Tyler at Turf Valley Resort last month!  You may recognize this couple from our July engagement session at George Mason University.  One thing that I loved about Megan and Tyler wedding is how much attention they paid to details.  Everything was so well thought out and planned and the wedding was simply beautiful.  And so is this couple.  I got a chance to talk to their limo drive who literally "rolled out the red carpet" for them and gave them a champagne toast.  When I asked him if he offered this super nice service for all his couples his answer was "No, only the ones that are nice and this couple was so nice to me I had to roll out the red carpet for their special day".  I don't know if I could say it any better myself!  If I had a red carpet to roll out for them I would!  Instead I have a blog entry and some beautiful photographs for a lovely couple!

Megan is just STUNNING!  I really don't think I had a bad photograph of her (and trust me I'm not that good!).  This has to be my favorite of her from our day!

Tyler has such a genuine laugh and smile.  It is so nice to photograph a guy that isn't afraid to smile and have fun!

Here are just a few of those lovely details.  Megan's flowers were beautiful and their rings are so elegant!  I love this little close up of two of my favorite details!

You know that I am in LOVE with couples making each other laugh!  Its photos like this that make me really love my job.  Years from now their grandkids will be able to look back on this photo and see how happy these people made each other!

Congratulations Megan & Tyler!  Many happy years to come!

The Lomonico Family; Park of Roses

We were so excited to start our September Portraits in the Park sessions at The Park of Roses with one of my favorite families!  I photographed Craig and Lisa's wedding a years ago and was so excited when I got to photograph their little girl Gianna last year for her 1st birthday!  There are some people that are just naturals in front of the camera and this family is full of them.  Little Gianna is so adorable and not only looks right into my camera but also poses for me!  I love it!  Here are just a few of my favorites from our session (and let me tell you it was super hard just picking my top 5!)

This has to be one of my all time favorite photos I have taken to date.  That little smile is so sweet and I love that she is looking at me through her little curls.  Adorable.

This photo was literally the second shot I took of Gianna in the parking lot!  We hadn't even made it into the park and she was ready for her close up!

This photo just makes me smile.  I love both Lisa and Gianna's smiles and I'm pretty sure Daddy was behind me making his girls giggle!

Such a sweet moment with Gianna and Craig.  I love these little calm, candid moments!

And of course I love these burst of energy, fun moments too!  I think you can hear Gianna squealing in this photo!  It is just so much fun to be a kid!

Thanks again for letting me share some moments with your sweet family!
